WiFi on a Gondola?

Val d’Isère will be introducing the all-new TC10 Solaise Gondola for Winter 2016/17.

With a capacity of 3,600 people per hour in its 91 cabins and the journey to the top of Solaise taking an estimated seven minutes, there is no doubting the sheer power of the new télécabine. However, where we stumble, is understanding the all-new technology going inside it.

Heated seats are fair enough; cold, wet bottoms after a tumble on the snow are annoying and this is one way of drying them out. But the WiFi? Really? We want to know what you think about this new feature, and whether it is necessary. Simply cast your vote below.

If you have any comments, feel free to let us know what you think.

With the new lift in Val d’Isère offering heated seats and WiFi, do you think we really need these features?

Here is a ‘sneak preview’ of what the all-new gondola by Val D’Isère Téléphériques will look like.
