Christmas is the most special time of year in the Alps, as all the resorts are decked out in twinkling fairy lights and traditional decorations, creating a truly magical atmosphere! Most resorts host traditional Christmas markets and festivals, for instance; in Lech you can listen to live music from choirs and brass-bands, whilst enjoying the delectable gingerbread and Glühwein, served from traditional wooden huts.

Our Chalet Hotels and chalets offer a very special festive ambience over Christmas, with a decorated Christmas tree, and plenty of festive extras. On Christmas Day, you can just sit back, relax and revel in the Christmas spirit with your friends and family, as our staff will do all the hard work for you! They will kick off the celebrations with a Champagne apéritif , before serving a full traditional Christmas dinner, including roast turkey with all the trimmings. This is followed by Christmas pudding and mince pies. You will feel right at home with crackers, party hats and maybe even a few carols around the fire!
