Verbier Snow Report, 21 Jan 2011

VerbierClear skies dominated the first half of the week but have since been replaced by snow clouds that are gradually topping up the snow levels in the Four Valleys.

There is 85cm’s of snow at just over 2000m, rising up to well over metre in depth at over 3000m’s.

The snow fell through the night leaving a blanket of powder covering the resort.

The pistes are well maintained as always in Verbier and the overnight snowfall has put down a fresh layer of powder for all to enjoy!
The weather for the next 3 days is expected to be a mixture of sun and snow but definitely staying cold throughout.

For an authentic taste of Verbier’s skiing culture why not take part in the Philippe Roux Challenge which takes place each Saturday from Savoleyres down to Verbier. Or if you’re looking for a bit of fun far from the slopes why not pop into the cinema for some panto fun with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
