Verbier Snow Report, 18 Feb 2011

Skier in VerbierThe Sun is beaming down, bringing a little winter relief to Verbier, spreading its golden light over the white faces of the 4 Vallees.

There is 82cm’s of snow at just over 2000m, rising up to well over metre in depth at over 3000m’s.

The pistes are extremely well maintained, as always in Verbier, by their exceptionally hard working maintenance team, with the high altitude slopes drawing up skiers and boarders alike.

The weather for the next few days is expected to continue to be bright and breezy with the chance of a few snow showers on Sunday.

Half term has arrived and as Verbier fills up you can expect a fun filled atmosphere all around town. For an authentic taste of Verbier’s skiing culture why not take part in the Philippe Roux Challenge which takes place each Saturday from Savoleyres down to Verbier.
