Five days of glorious sunshine, clear blue skies and mild temperatures has left a warm glow throughout Val Thorens this week. And before the pistes could even contemplate losing their quality, a heavy and much needed dump of snow arrived yesterday afternoon. Thick flakes continued to layer themselves across town throughout the night leaving a perfect coating of fresh powder for the guest’s final days. We will see more snowfall today with conditions brightening up on Saturday followed by the heaviest snowfall on Sunday. Don’t be fooled by the mild nature of the weather this week as temperatures are now dropping quickly so make sure to wrap up warm. The semi finals and finals of the SFR freeskiing tour take place today with wild card entries into the X Games Europe to win. Come down to observe and cheer along some of the best talent in France!
