Tignes Snow Report 19/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Tignes

There is 310cm of snow at the top of the Tignes ski area with 150cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  today with around 32cm falling.

There are 275km of pistes open in the Tignes ski area with 74 out of 89 ski lifts open.

Tignes has enjoyed an excellent snow fall over the last couple of days. Snow has been falling heavily in the Espace Killy since Sunday morning, adding to already good snow conditions on the pistes. Some sunny spells are expected today giving everybody the chance to make the most of the fresh snow on and off piste. With these superb conditions, Tignes continues to ensure excellent skiing for all its visitors well into the season.

More sun is expected later on in the week which is sure to transform Tignes once again into the perfect snowy paradise for skiers and snowboarders as they zoom around this wonderful mountain scenery.

Also, with the arrival of the X games competition tomorrow visitors to Tignes get to enjoy, not only fantastic snow conditions but also world class freestyle skiing and snowboarding performances.
