Snow depth in resort:                      50cm

A light snow fall yesterday enabled for skiers to be able to enjoy some of the fantastic sunshine and powder on the extensive Espace Killy area.

The tree line skiing on the ‘Orange’ run down to La Daille from the top of the Rocher de Bellevarde was skiing beautifully yesterday enabling lovely open turns at the top and then into some tree line skiing at the bottom.

The two glaciers are still granting Tignes some incredible skiing and with lift queues being minimal really enabling for skiers and boarders to really revel in the amount of skiing available to them in the Espace Killy area. The L’Aigulle Percee is continually popular with people taking advantage of the blue sky picture opportunities, making for a truly unforgettable holiday experience.

After the snow shower yesterday, there is blue skies forecast for the next 3 days.

On Tuesday at14.30 there is a Sumo parallel slalom held in Gliss’ park, Tignes Le Lac. This evening there is also a football tournament with hot wine and chocolate that is held in Val Claret. There is also introductory ARVA session with the Off Piste team held by ESF.  On Wednesday there is a free timed slalom  Lognan stadium in Tignes Val Claret. The Coca Cola zero Air Bag contest is also being held in the Swatch Snowpark, Val Claret. The regular Ice Hockey tournament is also being held at the Ice Rink, Tignes le Lac.

On Thursday there is a Sumos battle, Curling Square, Val Claret and not forgetting the regular disco on ice party with music, hot wine and chocolate with ice skates for free at Tignes le Lac ice rink.
