St Anton Snow Report 26/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in St Anton

There is 143cm of snow at the top of the St Anton ski area with 10cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  March 26th with around 3cm falling.

There are 254km of pistes open in the St Anton ski area with 78 ski lifts open.

There is a moderate amount of snow falling this week. Wednesday is looking to be a bluebird day, but then more fresh white stuff to come thursday night meaning Friday will be a day to hit the powder.

With the fresh snow yesterday and today the conditions are looking good. We had a big dump of snow last week, which means despite the warm weather the snow has maintained itself. There is a very low wind, and the temperature moderate making for very pleasant skiing.

The Ski School Arlberg are once again hostingtheir “The Snow Must Go On” ski show on wednesday night. Every week the skiers seem to get better and more practised. Doing tighter terns, missing each other by millimetres and more extreme tricks. Its definitely something not to be missed. There is also plenty of live music in resort, The Keller bar have live music every night, and Tom Doleys have a cover band playing on Friday.
