Here is the latest snow report from our team in St Anton

There is 240cm of snow at the top of the St Anton ski area with 65cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  31st March with around 2cm falling.

There are 100% of pistes open in the St Anton ski area with 100% ski lifts open.

Varied forecast for the next three days with some new snowfall expected overnight while the days are set to be a mixed of sunshine and cloud. Temperature ranging from 6oC to – 3 oC.

Temperatures have well and truly become worthy of spring skiing, shooting up to as much as 8 oC with clear blue skies. The conditions of the slope have maintained a very good condition despite a good dolloping of spring sunshine as cooler evening temperatures have helped preserve the snow and the squadrons of piste bashers have helped groom the slopes to perfection every evening. The sunshine has positively affected the paving around the resort as it is now mostly ice free keeping the ground sure underfoot for any journeys to and from town and the odd foray into the buzzing après and nightlife in and around St. Anton. All runs and lifts are currently open, offering some of the best variety of ski runs available in the Alps perfect for all abilities of skier and snowboarder.

This week see’s the return of one of the more unusual events in St. Anton’s events calendar. Swapping the sunny beaches of Brazil for St. Antons very own Rendl Beach, comes a two day volley ball competition like you have never seen before……. ON SNOW! With the spring sun beating down onto the slopes, come sit back and relax watching amateurs and experienced players alike compete for the title of St. Anton Snow Volley Ball champions. Expect to see beach themed parties, cheerleaders, hot tubs and maybe the odd bikini clad competitors for those brave enough… undoubtedly it won’t be restricted to the women.
