St Anton Snow Report 04/02/2016

The weather has been beautifully sunny, perfect weather and visibility for a great day on the slopes. It snowed last Sunday very heavily and Tuesday, which meant the slopes had nice topping of fresh powder for everyone to enjoy. All of the Arlberg has been open, along with the Tobboggan run and the ski show has been held at the stadium due to the fact that the snow has been great. Temperatures have been mild, meaning the days aren’t too cold and you can enjoy the amazing views of the Arlberg. The Rendl area has been a particularly good area to ski, as it’s not so busy and the snow is lovely and groomed, as well as offering fantastic views.

Forecast: The forecast for the next week is snow and sunshine! Lots of snow forecasted for Thursday (about 30cm) and Sunday afternoon (about 26cm). Friday, Saturday and Monday are forecasted to be nice and sunny with the odd sprinkling of snow. Perfect combination of sunshine and fresh powder! More snow is forecasted for Tuesday but only light snow with heavy snow in the night. Temperatures are dropping dramatically which is great news, they will stay below the freezing mark around -5.
