Here is the latest snow report from our team in St Anton
There is 230cm of snow at the top of the St Anton ski area with 80cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on 22th Feb with around 5cm falling.
There are 65 out of 66 of pistes open in the St Anton ski area with 79 out of 79 ski lifts open.
Temperatures and sunny days are on the rise meaning you can ditch the goggles for next week and dig out your sunglasses. Winds will generally be light so after a hard morning skiing why not finish off your afternoon lounging on the deck chairs at the top of Rendl and get topping up your tan.
Skiing in the Arlberg area is currently excellent, with well maintained pistes and great weather, offering perfect skiing across the whole region.
This week sees the 44th annual Galzig cup on March 3rd. The traditional race attracts lots of ski enthusiasts and involves a prize giving ceremony up on the Verwallstube, as well as Tyrolean music and a huge buffet with traditional Austrian cuisine.
For those who fancy a more relaxing stroll through the town, make sure you don’t miss the best handmade arts and crafts market which will be taking place in the pedestrianised area between the 5th and 8th March.
