Selva snow report 18.12.2012

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Selva

The snow depth at the top of the ski area at Ciampinoi is 70 cm and in resort there is 20 cm on the home runs. It last snowed on 15/12/2012 with 15 cm.

All the runs are open and 74 out of the 78 lifts in the area are running.

A really solid base layer throughout the entire resort can now be found meaning even the more heavily skied areas hold up well throughout the day.  A softer top layer can still be found throughout resort allowing even the less confident skiers to easily use edges and build good levels of speed.

The weather over the next few days is due to be sunny with a few clouds, maybe some light snowing on Thursday, with maximum temperatures of -3 C.

Following the downhill and super G worldcup race on 14/15th December, the Saslong black run  is again open to everyone who wants to ski on the tracks of champions.
