There are 100% of pistes open in the Saas Fee ski area with 95% ski lifts open.
A couple of snow showers are predicted over the next 3 days, heaviest being on Monday afternoon where 8cm of snow is due to fall. Wind is generally light and temperatures are ranging between -6 and -8 in the morning and -5 and -8 in the afternoon (based at the midpoint at 2700m)
What a fabulous week so far. Guests enjoying plenty of mountain time, whether its blasting down the perfectly pisted slopes or sunbathing on the terrace of the Morenia restaurant. You couldn’t ask for much better considering the time of year were at. Where at the top we still have some great powder. Recommended to stay up high and power it out in the morning as the lower slopes and runs back to the village are turning slightly slushy in the afternoon. In Saas Fee you can go as high as 3600m!! Just be warned the air noticeably thins (after 5 months of being here I still need to catch my breath).
The end of season Allalin races are soon approaching, the worlds highest glacier downhill racing! From all over Europe participants will compete in various disciplines, feeling the burn on the Glacier!
