Méribel, FranceThe Three Valleys is well covered with a snow base of 190 on the upper slopes of Méribel and 115cm in resort.

Despite spring being upon us there is still some good snow in the Meribel valley. The pistes are so empty at the moment and so you can enjoy at your leisure. Yesterday Blaireau was absolutely deserted at the snow was beautiful.

There is some light snowfall predicted tonight (Friday) at 2200 metres and then the rest of the week is set to be clear. The freezing level will gradually increase to 2500 metres.

British ski championships start on Sunday in Meribel and run until 2nd April. There will then be the childrens’ ski championships following on.  These events combined with the live music which is coming from everywhere means Meribel will be buzzing.
