Here is the latest snow report from our team in Meribel.

There is 183cm at the top of the Meribel ski area and 110cm in resort with the last snowfall on Wednesday with 10cm falling down.

95%  of the runs are open with 41 of the 42 Meribel lifts open.

Today: Patchy cloud with 2cm of snow expected. -6c is the max temperature today so wrap up warm!

Saturday: Overcast with another 2cm of snow expected with temperatures of max    -4c

Sunday: Overcast with another 10cm! of snow expected. Maximum temperatures hitting -3c

The ski conditions at the moment are spectacular with fantastic visibility and clear views over the mountain ranges. Carving and off piste skiing both excellent after the recent snow dump over the last week.

Meribel has been buzzing with the excitement of the France 3 television crew filming their hit show “Midi en France”. To everyone’s dejection they had to move off on Wednesday, but fear not, Meribel had much more up its sleeve this week! We had a fantastic Raclette and Comedy Night at Meribel’s famous Grangettes Hotel, with wine flowing, mountains of cheese and an acoustic set to serenade the diners, it was truly an evening to remember. Today at 18:00 there will be the ESF memorial race, which will be performed in honour of the departed ESF instructors. I believe it will truly be a moving tribute to those who are no longer with us. Meribel as ever is buzzing and ready for all the new guests arriving tomorrow, we hope the guests know the week they have let themselves in for an absolutely excellent week.
