Meribel Snow Report, 17 Dec 2010

Méribel, FranceAt the top of the ski area, the Mont Vallon, there is 62cm and in resort level there is 30cm and rising as it is currently snowing and we have had about 20cm fall over night.

Lots and lots of lovely snow fall is expected over the next few days, with temperatures set to be absolutely freezing – it is definitely winter here and time to rug up and stay warm. We are already seeing some of the best conditions this season with powder everywhere now is the time to go have some fun.

Skiing conditions – AH…..MAZING!! can’t wait to get out today it is going to be epic. With so much snowfall I am glad to have some nice big powder skies to get out on the slopes with. You will probably find everyone hunting down the sides of the pistes for those wonderful champagne powder stashes.

First pub quiz of the season tonight in the Meribar, this will be running every Friday for the season and at 5€ per person (which includes a drink) this event is expected to really kick it off!
