Here is the latest snow report from our team in Meribel

There is 175cm of snow at the top of the Meribel ski area with 101cm in resort. It is still snowing and overnight we have seen 7cm fall.

95% of the runs are open with 40 of the 42 Meribel lifts open.

The forecast is Cloudy and snowy today, sunny on Wednesday and cloudy and snowy on Thursday.

Ski conditions this week started off with some lovely sunshine on Sunday, the snow was ripe for carving, and there was still some untouched powder for boarders off the slopes. Over the last day however, we have had snowfall resulting in the pistes becoming an absolute dream to glide across. The clouds hugged the tops of the mountains yesterday delivering its bounty onto the peaks of Val Thorens, Meribel and Courchevel. In short, we have a fantastic week of skiing ahead of us in les 3 vallees!

The week kicked off with a buzz of excitement as a television crew started setting up in the chaudanne in Meribel. France 3 has started filming there famous ‘Midi en France’ and asking members of the public to join in as extras! This, of course, has brought many different kinds of people to Meribel Chaudanne to see what the fuss is all about. The Inghams and Ski Total quiz last night was fantastic; with a large turnout of people and about 11 teams in total the questions were tough but the competition tougher. In the end the best team won, but fun and laughter was shared by all. The guests are now highly anticipating our nightlife orientation evening, which starts tonight in the Meribar. Skis down, glasses up!
