Meribel snow report 11.01.2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Meribel
The snow depth at the top of the ski area at Meribel is 151cm and in resort there is 81cm on the home runs. It last snowed on 11/01/2013 with 13cm.
Over the next 3 days we are expecting another 14cm of snow, a refreshing change from the sunny blue skies we had earlier in the week. The temperature however is going to drop dramatically to a consistent low of -7 degrees over the next 3 days.
The snow conditions over the last few days have been fantastic; with many seasonnaires and guests alike getting a panda eyed tan as a result of the persistent sunshine. After last night’s dump of snow we are expecting off piste skiing to be fantastic and on piste skiing to be even better, the snow giving the piste a good base layer to really get your board or skis into.
As the week is coming to a close all the guests have been buzzing about how spectacular the weather has been. It was dazzlingly hot for this time of year in resort, and the tans from the staff in particular have been spectacularly raccoon-like. The new snow that has fallen in resort sparked off quite a few snow fights last night, not only that but caused real anticipation of the delightful days skiing ahead of everyone
