There is 220cm of snow at the top of the Meribel ski area with around 113cm in resort. The last snowfall was on Sunday with around 6cm falling.

90% of the ski runs in Meribel are open with 40 of the 42 ski lifts open also.

Today: Today is overcast with 19cm of snow expected. Temperatures will be hitting a max of -7 degrees

Wednesday: Believe it or not we are expecting another 13cm of snow tomorrow, with overcast skies and maximum temperatures of -10 degrees.

Thursday: An extremely cold day, with temperatures dropping to a max of -14 degrees and 2cm of snow expected wrapping up to ski would be strongly advised.

The ski conditions at the moment are exquisite. After the recent snowfall and the promise of more to come, the slopes are groaning under the load of snow. Fresh powder is out there waiting to be skied, whilst the pistes are freshly groomed allowing beginners, intermediates and expert skiers alike to have a fantastic weeks skiing.

With the recent dump of snow and more to come, the gossip in resort is we don’t want this to end! The more powder the better as far as we are concerned! The snowy scenes in Meribel town center will be a fitting and beautiful backdrop to the street party that is happening on Thursday. With Vin Chaud and candles lit on the streets and live music, it promises to be an event not to be missed! The resort as ever is immaculate, pistes groomed and bars fully stocked, there is nothing else you could ask from a skiing holiday!
