Les Gets Snow Report 22/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Gets

There is 225cm of snow at the top of the Les Gets ski area with 85cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  21st March with around 5cm falling.

There are 68 out of 69 of pistes open in the Les Gets ski area with 98% ski lifts open.

Today the weather’s going to be mostly clear with a few clouds. Over the next few days there will be more clouds with some snow showers on Sunday evening. Temperatures will be between 1 and 7 degrees.

Ski conditions have been excellent all week. The snow is lovely and fresh at the moment, with plenty of powder. There are a few lumps and bumps around, which is great for those people who want to practice their technique on some moguls. But don’t worry if you’re not so keen, you will be able to avoid them. Visibility is excellent right now too. It’s been good all week, but with the clear skies we have today then it should definitely be at it’s best.

Rock the Piste is still going on, with music in the Portes du Soleil both today and tomorrow.
