Les Gets Snow Report 19/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Gets

There is 215cm of snow at the top of the Les Gets ski area with 80cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  today with around 15cm falling.

There are 115km of pistes open in the Les Gets ski area with 50 out of 51 ski lifts open.

We’re expecting some more light snow in the next two days with some clear spells on Thursday morning. Temperatures are ranging between 0 and -5 degrees this week.

Ski conditions are back to their best this week. There’s plenty of snow on the ground and plenty of powder on the slopes. Best to hit some of the more popular areas this morning before lumps and bumps start appearing this afternoon, although they’ll be great for any mogul lovers. Mont Chery is always at it’s best at first lifts after a heavy snowfall. Despite all the snow visibility is still looking good up top although the spectacular views of the mountains are not gonna be able to be seen until later in the week when the snow stops.

Rock the Piste festival starts tomorrow with music from BB Brunes down at the Folliets du Golf.
