Les Gets Snow Report 12/04/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Gets
There is 190cm of snow at the top of the Les Gets ski area with 60cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on 10th April with around 10cm falling.
There are 64% of pistes open in the Les Gets ski area with 63% ski lifts open.
We should be having some more snow today. It is going to warm up in the next few days though with
temperatures rising from around 0 degrees to 12/13degrees by sunday. This is going to bring us some sun, but as it warms up we may see a bit of rain.
Considering it’s the last week of season we still have some great snow on the mountains, and with
snowfalls as recent as wednesday we’ve even had some powder. The piste basher have been working hard on the mountain to ensure the snow stays at it’s best, right until the last ski day. It’s great fun to ski on at the moment, and really fast.
There’ll still be treasure hunts on the Grand Cry today and tomorrow, but as resort comes to a close therea few events happening. Over the next few nights however are the closing parties for Irish bar, Boomerangs and Bigfoots.
