Les Deux Alpes Snow Report 15/03/2016

We have had a massive amount of fun with our powder and new packed powder slopes this week. The sunshine has been glorious, and not to boast, but it has been our ultimate week this season, strictly balanced by marvelous piste conditions and brilliant sunshine. It’s not quite flip-flop and shorts as temperatures have still been very low, but mid afternoon sun brings everyone out on the terraces and veranda’s for lunch and long into Apres.

Forecast: After a fantastic week of sunshine, preceded by a meter of snow, it is once again snowing in Deux Alpes and snow showers over the next 48hrs are expected to deliver over 7cm of fresh powder. So the next few days temperatures will drop to a cool -2°C followed by a long weekend of sunshine. Although Spring has most certainly arrived, light snow showers continue to fall from Tuesday 22nd onwards followed by another round of glorious sunshine so we can get on the slopes and enjoy some fresh powder.
