Les Arcs Snow Report 22/02/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Arcs

There is 265cm of snow at the top of the Les Arcs ski area with 120cm in resort. There is light snow expected for the weekend to add to the current levels.

104 of the 107 ski runs are open in the Les Arcs ski area with 50 of the 51 ski lifts also open.

The glorious sunshine throughout the week has provided great skiing conditions around the Paradiski resort. The weather providing great visibility of the surrounding mountains and valleys for some splendid photo opportunities. This morning is set to be another fantastic day of sunshine for Les Arcs, with a light drop of snow in the afternoon and a couple more centimeters over the weekend!

The temperatures have warmed on the slopes, with longer days ahead and the brilliant sunshine throughout the week, sunbathing by the pistes has finally become possible. With the snow showers ahead the chilly temperatures over the weekend are set to rise by the beginning of next week for some great on-piste conditions.

This weather has provided great conditions for Snakegliss the fun and sociable way to sledge down from the top of the Place Olympic slopes all the way down to the bottom of the 1950 village.
