Les Arcs Snow Report, 16 Mar 2010

Snow BoarderThe sun continues to shine over the Paradiski area this week, meaning most people in the resort are now sporting fierce goggle tans. This has also meant that the high visibility skiing has continued and everyone is able to ski to their ability without worries. Snow conditions on piste continue to excel with especially the higher runs in resort proving to be popular.

Clear blue skies are forecasted to continue throughout the next few days, with some fresh snow due to arrive later in the week. Winds are due to be light and the next few days should remain fairly dry, suggesting that ski conditions will continue to be perfect.

In the wake of the X-games being in neighbouring Tignes and many skiers/boarders have been watching either live or on television and the whole resort has gone crazy for the Snow Park. Inspired by their heroes, many have taken to trying impressive tricks and just taking the Clair Blanc chairlift next to the Snow Park, can mean some fantastic skiers and boarders displays can be seen.

69 out of 73 runs are open and all 52 lifts. Snow depths are 210cm up at 3300m and 113cm at 2000m.
