Les Arcs Snow Report 09/04/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Les Arcs
There is 280cm of snow at the top of the Les Arcs ski area with 113cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on 8th April with around 5cm falling.
There are 83% of pistes open in the Les Arcs ski area with 88% ski lifts open.
Tuesday: Highs of -4°C and lows of -7°C snow showers and sun (10cm expected)Wednesday: Highs of 0°C and lows of -6°C snow showers and sun (2cm expected)Thursday: Highs of -2°C and lows of -5°C light snow (6cm expected)
The final week of the season is upon us and the snow conditions couldn’t be better for this time of year. The snow continues to fall in Les Arcs providing those who booked end of seasons trips with mid season weather conditions. On piste conditions are excellent and a joy to ski on.
The sun looks set to make a return throughout the latter half of the week with Friday and Saturday looking particularly promising, with a dusting of new snow before then.
As this season draws to a close we can look back on reminisce on what has been a fantastic season and all look forward to what the next season has in store. Until then summer is calling, catch you at the chair lift next season.
