Les Arcs Snow Report 06.01.2015

A very happy New Year from the Les Arcs team. Your resort representatives here have changed their day off and have been enjoying the slopes today after some snow fall over the weekend and on Monday morning. All ski lifts are open in Les Arcs 18000, all but one in Arc 1600 and Peisey and 16/18 open in Arc 2000, giving a huge choice of runs for all abilities in each area. Skiing over La Plagne is possible across the Vanoise express and is now better than ever, with access to the highest point in the area on the Bellecote glacier.

The weather has been cold but there is great skiing to be had, especially on the sunny slopes, although a few runs lower down can be icy in places. We are due clear skies until Thursday evening, when there will be continuous snowfall until Saturday, conveniently stopping before the transfer weekend! Temperatures will be mild, at either side of freezing and minimal wind chill leading to excellent conditions.
