Lech Snow Reports, 05 March 2010

SkierUp on the Steinmahd, at 2300m, there is up to 165cm of snow and in resort there is 90 cm, being topped up today by the 5cm already fallen.

Further new snow yesterday and today should refresh the pistes and offer good skiing throughout the region with fresh snow sitting on top of the newly groomed pistes.

A fantastic variety of terrain is available on the 255km of pisted slopes. Run 14 from above Zurs offers some fantastic on piste skiing whilst the 14a itinerary run that comes off it gives the more adventurous a challenge.

It is currently snowing in resort and light to moderate snow due to continue on and off through the day with occasional periods of brighter skies.

The freezing level should stay well below the height of the resort maintaining good snow conditions at all levels.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to continue light to moderate snow showers with moderate winds and a total fall of fresh snow over the next few days of 20cm.  Monday is expected to be bright

There is now the chance to enjoy the excitement of snow-tubing between 10.00 and 21.00 each day. The snow-tubing park is between Oberlech and Tannegg.  Indoor Ice Skating is available in the hotel Monzabon all days except Thursday.
