Lech Snow Report 26/03/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Lech
There is 245cm of snow at the top of the Lech ski area with 115cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on March 26th with around 10cmcm falling.
There are 0.89 of pistes open in the Lech ski area with 64 out of 68 ski lifts open.
The sun is showing its face over the next few days which will ensure for fantastic
skiing, helped by this heavy snow fall we are currently experiencing. Spring
skiing is in full force, with the temperatures rising as well!
The snow is coming down in full force now, which has been fantastic for the skiing and boarding conditions. The pistes are fresh and ready for you to sweep down at speed and the off piste conditions keep giving you something new to
experience. The pisten bullys are hard at work ensuring that your holiday has
some of the best snow and grooming the pistes to perfection. The town is
looking very picturesque and inviting, ready for you to après the Lech way
after an amazing days skiing.
Wednesday 27th March – Lech ski lifts discovery tour! Between 15:00 and 17:00 at the Weibermahdbahn you can learn first-hand about what goes on behind-the-scenes of a working ski-lift. You will be accompanied on skis to visit a cable-car installation, a snow-grooming vehicle and a snow-making facility.
Thursday 28th March – The ski schools of Lech and Zurs are performing their torch ski show in Zurs! Come along to see some amazing skiing, piste bashers dancing and fantastic fireworks. It’s said to hold the audience spellbound!
