Lech Snow Report 19/02/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Lech

There is 300cm of snow at the top of the Lech ski area with 140cm in resort. The last snowfall was on Saturday with around 5cm of snow falling.

95% of the ski runs in Lech are open with all 68 of the ski lifts open.

Over the next few days the weather is meant be continuing its sunny spell, with some snow fall on Wednesday. The temperature is slowly rising as well, creating fantastic weather conditions.

With the snowfall we had two weeks ago, the conditions on the mountains can’t be faulted and these are definitely some of the best conditions that we have had in the Arlberg since the beginning of the season. Clear, sunny skies have been gracing us with their presence for the majority of the last week, which has created fantastic skiing and boarding for all to enjoy, whilst being groomed regularly to make the perfect piste. The off piste conditions are tracked but still ready and waiting for all to experience.  Amazing snow and beautiful weather are not something to be missed!

Wednesday 20th February – Lech Ski Lift Discovery Tour is said to be an amazing way to immerse yourself in the behind the scenes world of the Ski lifts in Lech. Also finding out about pisten bullys and snow cannons.

Wednesday 20th February – Torch Ski Show in Zurs starts at 19:00pm. It’s said to be a spell bounding ski show, presenting a journey of the history of skiing. With some elaborate ski demonstrations and fireworks to finish off, this will be hard to miss for any guests in Lech or Zurs this week!
