Ischgl snow report 29.01.2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Ischgl

There is 150cm at the top of the Ischgl ski area and 60cm in resort. The last snow fall was on Monday with 5cm coming down.

There are 221km of pistes open with 38 of the 43 Ischgl ski lifts open.

This afternoon is sun sun sun!  With lower wind speeds and higher temperatures the skiing in Ischgl looks set to be to die for for the remainder of the week!

After a fresh dump yesterday the snow up on the mountain is fabulous.  There’s still plenty of un-skied powder and that which has been skied is currently being refreshed!  With the current conditions the tree runs are the ones to go for.  Red 38 and Red 3 will be particularly  beautiful, winding down through the forest.  The snow is due to ease up this afternoon and the higher lifts should open, meaning fresh access to all the new powder.  The snow to the right of the black 21 is always a safe bet, and next to the Red 60s in Alp Trida will be brilliant.  With brilliant sunshine forecast for the rest of the week Ischgl is going to have the best of both world’s for the foreseeable few days!

Don’t miss the tobogganing on Thursday night it is something not to be missed. Also don’t forget to run the 40’s which are great if you fancy a bit of duty free shopping. The conditions are great at the moment so don’t miss out.
