A snowy night is met with a beautiful morning today in Courchevel. Following two days of snow showers and conditions that did not require sun protection, today guests can whack on the sun-tan lotion again as it promises to be a day to rival Monday and Tuesday for its bright sunshine.
The few days we did have without such warm conditions did serve to conserve the pistes well and with the fresh fall overnight and with significant amounts of the slopes bashed the pistes promise to remain in excellent condition for weeks to come.
Sun is forecast for today and tomorrow morning with heavy snow forecast for Saturday night and more snow throughout the day on Sunday.
The International Festival of Pyrotechnical Art continued last night with great aplomb and a lot of spectators down in 1650. Next week the competition concludes back up in 1850.
The European Ski Jumping Club is holding a competition this weekend down in Le Praz. This daring sport promises to be even more impressive viewed first hand.
