SkierThe snow depth on the upper Portes du Soleil slopes have a depth of snow that reaches 250cm whilst around Avoriaz itself the depth is150cm.

The ski conditions at the moment are excellent having had 10cm of snowfall yesterday and a further 4cm predicted today.

The snow conditions are outstanding for this time in the season with 90% of the ski runs in resort still open we are very lucky to have so much still left to explore!

All 7 ski fields are open as well as the 3 snow parks, ‘The stash’ (which is celebrating its third birthday this weekend), the super pipe and the Border cross. With 2 and a half meters of snow at the top of resort we have seen little to none of the usual ‘patchy’ spots on the pistes.

The snow forecast for today and the next three days is predicting light snow (about 13 mm) with calm days and temperatures at around 1°c – -2°c during the day times and getting as low as -5 at night.

This week in resort there is a ski rally around the Avoriaz ski area, There is also The celebration of the third year anniversary of ‘The Stash’ there will be a freestyle competition held including some of European Burton team riders as well as some of the talented local snowboarders.
