Arabba snow report 01.01.2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Arabba

The snow depth at the top of the ski area at Marmolada Glacier is 156 cm and in resort there is 55 cm on the home runs.

It last snowed on 27.12.2012 with 6 cm.

95% of the runs are open and 29 out of the 29 lifts in the area are running.

The large amount of snowfall we had last week has meant the pistes continue to be in great conditions and are a pleasure to ski on. We’ve had sunshine and blue skies since Friday, though temperatures are dropping and it’s getting much chillier. It’s due to snow again tomorrow which will add to the already fantastic amounts of snow we have here, and will then clear up by Thursday for more sunshine and blue skies.

The Sella Ronda ski route is fully open and the pistes are in excellent condition. The Hidden Valley is also open – we went there today ski hosting with guests and the weather was fantastic for it as you could see all of the spectacular scenery.

The weather over the next few days is due to be lightly snowing tomorrow, with the clouds clearing away by Thursday for some more great clear weather.
