Alpe d Huez Snow Report 21/03/2015

The snow is back! After a week full of warm temperatures and very pleasant weather, the clouds came in yesterday afternoon and the snow has made it’s way back to us. Visibility isn’t great but the fresh snow on the ground is. Today, there are an estimated 3,000 revellers arriving for Snowboxx Festival which will kick off tomorrow with loads of different events both on and off the mountain. Throughout the week, different DJs and bands will be taking over the pistes for apres and bars and clubs in the evening. It’s going to be a great week!

Forecast: It is predicted that the snow will continue into tomorrow so a nice layer of fresh snow for the start of the festival which is excellent news for all these keen skiers and snowboarders. It looks as though there will be light snow and sunshine on Monday and Tuesday and then heavy snow coming our way on Wednesday (up to 30cm!)
