Alpe d Huez Snow Report 16/02/2016

Mostly blue bird skies with clouds rolling in and out at lower levels. Wind conditions are gentle, meaning that the higher lifts are open. Piste conditions are good, with moguls on certain runs for skiers looking for a challenge. Off piste is mainly tracker powder on the popular routes, however the snow is still of good quality and not icy. The clear skies and gentle wind has also given us the perfect conditions for paragliding and speed skiing.

Forecast: The forecast for the following week is set to continue with sunny intervals with roughly 10cm of snow forecast for Thursday evening. Temperatures are going to stay at a similar level for the rest of the week at around -8 degrees Celsius. Wind conditions are going to stay gentle until Friday were they are set to pick up.
