Here is the latest snow report from our team in Zermatt
There is 190cm of snow at the top of the Zermatt ski area with 65cm in resort. The last snow fall was on Monday with 10cm coming down.
There are 330 km of the pistes open here in Zermatt with 44 of the 54 lifts open in resort.
Zermatt sees the arrival of snow over the weekend, with a potential accumulation of 15cm of snow. Weather then looks to clear with long consistent sunny spells throughout the start of next week, with the intermittent possibility of snow. Temperatures are going to remain unseasonably mild, hovering just south of 0 by Thursday. Winds at the start of the week will be quite strong, and will reduce over the week to low.
Ski conditions in Zermatt are currently superb, with low temperatures keeping snow fresh throughout the day. Heavy snowfall last week has refreshed runs, whilst with resort currently quiet; runs are skied less ensuring that they remain in good condition.
