Here is the latest snow report from our team in Zermatt
There is 250cm of snow at the top of the Zermatt ski area with 35cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on March 23rd with around 15cmcm falling.
There are 350km of pistes open in the Zermatt ski area with 38 out of 54 ski lifts open.
With the past two days consisting of heavy snowfall, the weather in Zermatt
brightens up with blue skies, with the occasional snowfall overnight. A few
centimetres each evening is expected with mixed conditions during the day.
Temperatures are set to hover around -6 with light winds bringing this
temperature down to around -10.
Ski Conditions in Zermatt are currently superb, with consistent snowfall mixed in with blue sky days, offering the best Spring conditions one could wish for.
Temperatures remain low enough even towards the bottom of the mountain that snow does not become slushy, and careful treatment of the slopes by Piste
bashers at night means runs rarely become moguled in any way. For Blue sky
days, make the most of an early morning and head over to Cervinia with your
International area lift pass. However if there are clouds, dive down into the
trees at Sunnegga for a truly winter wonderland experience! Runs guests are

With the Easter holidays on us already, Zermatt welcomes a more family based group of guests,. For the younger ones, head into the Village on Wednesday afternoons to meet Wolli, the Zermatt Mascot! For those of you wanting a mountain thrill, try out First Tracks on a Thursday, the best way to get ahead of everyone else on the slopes, with a breakfast buffet at Furi between 8.30 and 10.30
