Sunny Skies dominate the first half of the week in Zermatt, giving way to snow from Wednesday afternoon onwards, with a predicted 20cm of snow fall by Saturday night. Temperatures are set to fall from -8 to around -15. However wind chill levels are set to remain low.

Snow conditions are still fantastic in Zermatt with a strong base layer and low temperatures making sure runs are fresh and skiable all through the day. With the resort not as busy as expected, runs are less tracked out, and skiers can enjoy skiing, rather than just trying to avoid others. Runs that guests are particularly enjoying this week are RED 7,9, 12 and BLUE 36 and 43.

Zermatt has currently got a feel good factor about it, as those arrive for half term week. The resort is unsurprisingly not too busy this week, which has added to a friendly atmosphere. Pippa Middleton is currently residing in resort, so make sure you try and catch a glimpse of our most famous “almost royal”!
