Here is the latest snow report from our team in Zermatt
There is 250cm of snow at the top of the Zermatt ski area with 75cm of snow in resort. There is a downfall of 15cm predicted for today in Zermatt.
All 360km of pistes are open in the Zermatt ski area with 45 of the 54 lifts also open.
Weather is set to be mostly sunny over the next three days, broken up with light snowfall to keep runs fresh. Temperatures are set to hover around -10, with low wind chills meaning temperatures are unlikely to fall much further beyond this.
Ski conditions are currently fantastic, with consistent snowfall over the past week leading to excellent powder conditions and fantastic on piste snow. The more adventurous can still find places to cut fresh tracks, but that’s not to say you can’t have fun on piste; reds and blues are a delight to ski still, with guests currently enjoying RED 7, 15, 35 and BLUE 36 and 14.
There’s no rest for Zermatt, with the Swatch Free skiers Cup finishing spectacularly this week, the resort dives straight into half term week. Be sure to watch out for pop ups bars and food stands in resort, along with a feel good factor about town as the holiday feeling comes to resort.
