Zermatt Snow Report 08/03/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Zermatt
There is 240cm of snow at the top of the Zermatt ski area with 50cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on 7th March with around 10cm falling.
There are 360km of pistes open in the Zermatt ski area with 45 out of 70 ski lifts open.
Light snow is forecast for the next three days with sunshine breaking up any cloudy periods. Temperatures are set to drop slightly to -8 average at mid level. Winds are still set to remain low.
Ski conditions are currently superb, with fantastic piste conditions all over the mountain. Whilst temperatures are relatively high, snow still remains fresh and skiable all day with no slushy conditions. Light snow over the past few days has contributed to runs not feeling skied out. Combined with a quieter resort than per usual, runs remain traffic free and pleasant to ski all day. Runs Guests are particularly enjoying on Ski Hosting are RED 9, 28, 19 and BLUE 45,14 and 6.00
