Verbier Snow Report, 24 Mar 2010
The weather has continued to stay dry and clear and temperatures have started to climb. The piste bashers have been working hard and all pistes and lifts were back in order yesterday and skiers are able to enjoy the pistes.
There is around 10cm of snow at the bottom of resort at 1500m. At 2200m there is approx 130cm of snow and around 190cm of snow right at the top of resort at 2950m
31 out of 34 lifts are currently open
The clear weather from the last few days has again continued. Raised temperatures along with the dry weather have made the snow soft.
The immediate forecast is for be sunny and clear conditions with temperatures staying as they are. Thursday, Friday and Saturday look to bring some snow to Verbier and temperatures are set to drop again.
After a buzzing weekend, Verbier is recovering form the Nissan Xtreme competition. Streets and pistes were packed with fans, music, stalls and food and drink for what was a truly fun weekend.
