The fantastic weather in Verbier has continued this week after the last snowfall on Sunday night. Still, low temperatures and lots of sunshine, has made skiing this week just perfect. Snow depths are good with 143cm of snow at 2200m and right at the top at 2950m there is 175cm of snow. 33/34 lifts are open.
The beautiful sunshine and clear skies from last week and last weekend has continued this week. Moreover, temperatures have remained relatively low and have helped to keep the slopes fast and firm.
A light covering of new snow looks to reach Verbier on Saturday with the majority of it set to fall on Sunday with generally light winds.
Verbier is buzzing with life at the moment. Nissan Xtreme has arrived in resort. Streets are decorated with banners and are all busy with people all ready for a fun weekend. The competition, which kicks off today, will see free-skiers and snowboarders displaying their skills on the pistes.
