Snow Boarder in VerbierAfter lots of snowfall in the last week there is plenty of snow on the mountains, which means great skiing to be had by all both on and off-piste!

There’s 40cm of snow at 1500m and Verbier is looking forward to what is sure to be a fantastic season with such a good base very early on.
A good dump of snow fell on yesterday just to freshen up the resort’s appearance.

Around 14% of runs in Verbier are open at the moment with more scheduled to open on 11/12/10.

It has been snowing on and off for the last week in Verbier ensuring that there is a good covering of snow both higher up and lower down the mountain.
Those who are powder-mad will be having a great time on Verbier’s off-piste.

For the next 3 days Verbier is set for blue skies but will stay nice and cool with the temperature dropping on Monday, which will be great for preserving all the snow that has already fallen.

There is an exciting buzz in Verbier as the beginning of the season is just upon us and lots of energy in the town as the bars and clubs have their opening nights.
