Verbier Snow Report 08/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Verbier

There is 240cm of snow at the top of the Verbier ski area with 87cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  24th Feb with around 3cm falling.

There are 100% of pistes open in the Verbier ski area with 100% ski lifts open.

The current ski conditions in Verbier are great with slopes being particularly empty at this time of year, there’s no ice in sight! Even though we haven’t seen snow in nearly two weeks, the condition of the snow itself is still in a good state, areas such as lac du Veux and Savoleyres are the best places to head as the frozen lake at the top is keeping the snow crisp, also the Savoleyres area is always empty so the snow isn’t too tracked or slushy.

The weather predictions for the next few days are very hopefully, with an apparent huge dump of snow falling this afternoon, excitement is in the air with the possibility of a powder weekend
