Verbier Snow Report, 01 Mar 2011

VerbierVerbier is covered in a blanket of white!  Fluffy fresh powder can be found both on and off the piste.

There is 170cm of snow on the upper slopes in resort.

20cm of snow fell on 27.02.11.

At long last the snow has arrived! Having had a large dump of snow two weeks running the pistes are in great condition with lots of fluffy soft snow to enjoy, making skiing just that bit more fun! The off piste is a powdery delight with snow at waist height to ski through. The skies are blue and clear. We couldn’t ask for any better conditions to ski in!

Light snow is due until Saturday when the weather will clear for a couple of days of sunshine, before the snow continues. Mild temperatures are expected for the duration of the week.

Richard Branson spotted in one of his favourite hangouts – the Fer a Cheval pub opposite the Rosalp.
