Val Thorens snow report 25.12.2012
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Val Thorens
The snow at the top of the ski area is 220cm with 140cm in resort. The last snowfall was on the 22nd and 5cm fell.
Almost all of the runs and lifts are open now.
Similar to yesterday, there is not a cloud in sight today and visibility is excellent. The snow will be in no danger of melting as we are expecting cooler temperatures mid-week with snowfall predicted on Wednesday and Thursday.
Christmas day has finally arrived and we could not be in a better place to be celebrating this festive day. A white Christmas it certainly is, with over 2 metres of snow still resting at the top! The sun is shining, the decorations are up and the snow is ample. Temperatures have increased dramatically over the past few days but luckily the snow is yet to turn slushy and is still fantastic across the entire resort. A very merry Christmas to everyone in VT and if you’re thinking of coming out in the New Year, you won’t be disappointed!
