Val Thorens Snow Report, 18 Jan 2011
With the arrival of the ‘Hash Runners’ group returning for their 2nd winter in Val Thorens, conditions couldn’t get better. With a gentle start to the week on cruisy blues around the VT & Les Menuiers area of the valley, we found some charming and relatively empty slopes in glorious sunshine.
Lift queues were almost non existent and the ski hosting party were able to ski straight on to most chair lifts.
More snow is predicted towards the end of the week but for now we are enjoying super conditions with resort temperatures around or just below freezing point.
