Val Thorens Snow Report 15/03/2013

Here is the latest snow report from our team in Val Thorens

There is 330cm of snow at the top of the Val Thorens ski area with 150cm of snow in resort. The last snowfall was on  15th March with around 26cm falling.

There are 100% of pistes open in the Val Thorens ski area with 100% ski lifts open.

Did somebody say, BLUE BIRD!? At least 15cm of fresh snow has blanketed itself across resort over the past two days, leaving us with unbelievable powder conditions to feast our skis on. And if that wasn’t enough, sunshine is predicted over the course of the next two days delivering the best conditions possible with excellent visibility.

Temperatures are maintaining an average of -11 degrees with a minimum of -15 degrees wind chill so ensure to wrap up warm. Another 18cm of snow is predicted to fall on Sunday evening with temperatures increasing to -8 Sunday 9am to 3pm, head on down to the snowpark where you will discover some of the best freestyle talent in the French alps.

At the Mercure Hotel from 6pm to 10pm Monday to Wednesday, let yourself be serenaded by jazz musicians and crooners with free entry for all.
