Val Thorens Snow Report 15/02/2013
Here is the latest snow report from our team in Val Thorens
There is 350cm of snow at the top of the Val Thorens ski area with 185cm in resort. 15cm of snow is forecast to fall today with sunshine tomorrow.
All 150km of pistes are open in the Val Thorens ski area with all 32 ski lifts open also.
Warm sunshine combined with 350cm of fresh snow meant we were lucky enough to experience two “blue bird” days in a row this week. If that wasn’t enough, Friday will see even more snow fall across resort with the weekend bringing sunny weather once again. Visitors next week will relish in the predicted forecast as sunshine is expected from Saturday all the way through until Wednesday. Temperatures will not look to drop any lower than -10 degrees which reflects a mild change in conditions for this time of year. On Monday evening, the instructors from ESF are assembling to bring to you a torchlight descent which can we be seen from the Place de Caron at 6:30pm. Admire the incredible talent with a free cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate.
